Wachovia Robbed

WSB just said that the Wachovia on Chapel Hill Road was robbed this morning. The DCSO said it happened at 9:23 a.m. They said the robber had a hammer under his shirt. They showed a picture the county had sent them but unfortunately it is not on their website (there is also no article, at least I couldn’t find one). Overheard At Borders

I was at Borders on Thursday and overheard a man talking on his cellphone about the work they’re doing at Chapel Hill/Dorsett/Annewakee Roads. He said (not sure which construction crew, I think he said CW Matthews) had cut a cable with a trackhoe. It sounded like he was from another construction crew that was also working at the same location. This might be why it’s taking so long. I haven’t been down there lately–I don’t drive on Chapel Hill Road if I can help it.
