Hog Wild Barbecue, and it’s in the former location of the Douglasville Retail Meat & Smokehouse (whose website is, oddly, still up). Does anyone know if it is open yet? I tried searching for their website but all I found was a location in Pine Mountain and several out of state.

We are waiting for final approval from the County and we will open. Hopefully by Friday 11/13. We do not have an website yet but it’s coming.

Ok so it was the fattiest pork ever along with the greasiest fries. Not impressed. Will not return! Also didn’t receive the cole slaw that is supposed to come with the meal.

If you like Hudsons you will like Hog Wild. As I understand it, the people from Hudsons helped open this restaurant and everything seems to be the same except the location. This is very good if you like Hudsons/Wallaces type of BBQ. The place is very clean and nice and the staff is super friendly. I hope they will do well.
