Looks like the Douglas County Public Health will only devote one day this fall to flu shots.  This is from their website:

“A drive-thru only flu clinic will also be held in Douglasville on Oct 22 at the Transportation Center. The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.”

No word on prices for these shots.

CVS, on the other hand, is already offering flu shots in their clinic every day of the week for $30, no appointment needed.  Walgreen’s has flu shots now.  Target is also offering flu shots:

October 18, 2008- October 19, 2008 : 10 am to 2 pm
Where? Target Pharmacy – 2950 Chapel Hill Road
Guests will have the opportunity to receive on-site flu and pneumonia vaccines. An outside vendor, Maxim Wellness, will staff the registration table and perform the vaccine administration. Guests will pay $29 at the pharmacy registers where they will receive a gift bag with coupon. After payment, vaccinations will be given near the Pharmacy Department.

Greystone members can also get a flu shot ($30) or a pneumonia shot ($40) at the annual meeting on October 11.

If anyone knows anywhere else where flu shots will be offered, post a comment with the location and date (and price if you have it) and I’ll add it to this post.
