I had to take my mother to WDH yesterday.  She sat in a wheelchair in the lobby for two hours (and she was not the only one waiting for a room) until a nurse took pity on her and moved her to the ER, where she remains.  They promised her a room, but because there are no empty beds, she will be staying in the ER.  Beds with ill patients line the ER hallways because there aren’t enough ER rooms.  The hospital needs to expand to serve the growing population or a second, larger hospital needs to be built.  Perhaps Tanner could build a hospital in Douglasville.

What do you think?
