• 25 acres at Tributary is for sale.  Asking price is $5 million.
  • I think Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club want someone to take over the lease for them.  There’s an ad on loopnet.com that says, “Two adjacent free-standing retail buildings, leased to the country’s largest retailer (Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust). The offering consists of 333,000 square feet of big box space on 36 acres of land. The buildings comprise a 203,000 sf Wal-Mart Supercenter and 130,000 sf Sam’s Club both including auto service drive-ups. The buildings were constructed in 1999 and are both subject to absolute NNN leases backed by the strongest credit tenant available.”  The price is about $37 million.
  • The two buildings in historic downtown Douglasville are still up for sale for about $440,000.
  • 2.2 acres at the corner of Slater Mill and Pope Road is for sale.  The price is not disclosed.
  • 39.28 acres are for sale at the corner of Factory Shoals and Camp Creek Parkway.  The price is not disclosed.
  • A horse farm on Banks Mill Road is for sale (I think it’s the one with the riding ring, right before you get to Johnston Road).  Asking price is $599,000.
  • Dogwood Blossom Mobile Home Park on Annewakee Road is for sale–the land only.  Asking price is $1,950,000.
  • Parkway Medical Professional Mall (the one story complex of doctors’ offices in front of Wal-Mart on Concourse Pkwy) is for sale. The asking price is $80,000.
  • There are three spaces in The Landing at Arbor Place for lease.
  • There is a medical office for lease in the Kohl’s shopping center.
  • Regions Bank in historic downtown Douglasville is leasing a little over 4,000 square feet of space inside its bank.
  • Looks like only the former Rhodes on Stewart Mill (in the former Wal-Mart shopping center) is up for lease now–I guess the other spaces have been leased.  Hobby Lobby should have gone into the former Wal-Mart location–they moved into an old Wal-Mart location in Carrollton.
  • There is a space in Westmoreland Plaza on Fairburn Road (where Blockbuster Video is) for lease.  Apparently the Papa John’s Pizza location closed.  There are three pictures.  The first shows the shopping center with the PJP sign, the second shows it with the sign removed.
  • Did Yummy European Cafe close?  There’s a space in that strip mall for lease, and the picture is of the cafe.
  • There are still six spaces for lease in the Live Oak Village (across from Lee’s in Bill Arp) strip mall.  One of the corners would be PERFECT for a little cafe–maybe like what Michelle’s used to be?

  • Five spaces still for lease in the Arbor Connection strip mall.
