All lanes were reopened Tuesday on I-20 west in Douglas County, but the backup was reported up to three and a half miles after an injury accident involving a jackknifed tractor trailer.

The accident involving three vehicles was near Post Road, according to the state Department of Transportation. Post Road is about 21 miles west of I-285.

One accident victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition, a DOT spokesman said.

The DOT said one of the three vehicles involved was a jackknifed tractor trailer that was carrying groceries. The truck spilled 15 to 20 gallons of diesel fuel.
