From the DCSO page:

Between 2 and 2:30 pm  there was an emergency tone out for an armed robbery at the Super 8 motel on Westmoreland in the city. A lookout was given on a black male dressed in black on foot. An undercover Deputy gave a lookout that a brown car with dark tinted windows was seen driving recklessly out of the trailer park behind the motel. Douglas County Deputy Bryland Myers was set up at Lee Rd and I-20 watching east bound traffic. Deputy Myers spotted a brown Ford Taurus with a black male driver and dark tinted windows. Deputy Myers stopped the vehicle at I-20 and Thornton Rd. As he was speaking to the driver he saw in plain view a Motel 8 money bag, a mask, and some bunched up money. Upon further investigation, Deputy Myers arrested the subject for Armed Robbery and possession of several packages of marijuana. The perpetrator was turned over to the city detectives.

Congratulations to Deputy Bryland Myers for getting another felon off the streets of Douglas County.
