On 3/25/10 at approximately 7:00am, Radio received a call from a female saying that she had pulled a male from the ditch along side Huey Road. According to the female, the male was breathing and was warm. The male subject was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he subsequently died. At this time it is believed the female actually hit the male with her car knocking him into the ditch. Investigation is continuing.

On 3/24/2010 Patrol Shift “A” Deputy Whitehead responded to Tree Terrace Pkwy in reference to a burglary. The victim advised Whitehead that a person(s) unknown did bust out a back window and enter the apartment. Once inside the perp(s) did break all valuables such as fine China and glass tables. The perp(s) cut up all the victim’s clothes. The victim also said that all her TVs and radio were stolen too. Investigator Kirkland was called to the scene. The case is under Investigation.

On 3/24/2010 Patrol Shift “A” Deputy Ernst responded to “Hola” car sales on East Peachtree Street off of Bankhead Hwy in Austell. A customer was on scene causing a disturbance reference to a repossession. Case was settled upon arrival of Deputy Ernst.

On 3/24/2010 Patrol Shift “A” responded to two incidents with juveniles causing problems and making threats with knives. Both juveniles were charged and released back to their parents per Department of Juvenile Justice.

On 3/24/2010 Patrol Shift “A” Deputies responded to an assistance call on Thornton Road at Blairs Bridge Road. The US Marshall Service and the Metro Fugitive squad were looking for a male subject on foot. This person was wanted for murder out of Philadelphia , PA. After a manhunt for about three hours, the subject was located and taken into custody without incident.
